We are ntroducing our handmade savasana eye pillows! Designed to enhance your meditation and yoga routines, as well as provide pure relaxation at home, these eye pillows are a must-have addition to your self-care arsenal.

You may already know that I have an extremely talented sister-in-law, Emilia. Seeing her handcrafts I could not stop myself from sharing her talents with the world… After several creative talks and brainstorming, we came up with a design of the savasana eye pillows.

Simply place the pillow over your closed eyes or forehead while lying on your back, and let the soothing weight and comforting scent transport you to a state of tranquility. Crafted with love and attention to detail, our eye pillows are made using natural materials to ensure maximum comfort. This cotton flax seed eye pillow will create a gentle soothing touch over the eyes. An evenly distributed weight will put a gentle pressure on the ocular nerve, and this may help relieve migraines and headaches in general. Great for yoga or sleeping! Research shows that lavender helps reduce stress and tension and can ease restlessness and insomnia. And the scent is just wonderful. Not only are these eye pillows perfect for your meditation and yoga practice, but they also make for an excellent travel companion. Whether you're on a long flight or staying in a hotel room, our eye pillows will help you create a serene environment wherever you go.

They are made of 100% cotton, measure 11x22 cm and are filled with bio flax seeds and lavender. They come with a little cotton bag so you can carry it with you wherever you like (to a yoga or meditation class, or when you travel).

Lavender is known for its relaxing properties. The scent of lavender has been used for centuries to promote relaxation and reduce stress. It is often used in aromatherapy to create a calming atmosphere and help with sleep. Additionally, lavender has been found to have potential benefits for anxiety and mood improvement.

Using flax seeds in savasana eye pillows can provide several benefits. Firstly, flax seeds are small and lightweight, making them an ideal filling for eye pillows. They conform well to the contours of the face and provide gentle pressure, which can help to relax the muscles around the eyes and increase a sense of calm.

Shipment: eye pillows will be sent within Switzerland. If you would like to order them to another country, please first contact me so we can check the shipment options. We have only 11 pillows available!

Why is Savasana so important?

Savasana, also known as Corpse Pose, is an essential part of yoga practice for several reasons. Firstly, it allows the body to fully relax and release any tension or stress accumulated during the yoga session. It helps bring the heart rate and blood pressure back to normal. Secondly, Savasana gives the mind an opportunity to quiet down and enter a meditative state. By consciously letting go of thoughts and focusing on deep relaxation, it helps reduce mental clutter, anxiety, and fatigue. It can also enhance self-awareness and mindfulness.

What is more, Savasana is believed to enhance the recovery and rejuvenation of the body by allowing the nervous system to rest and restore balance. It can also help improve sleep quality, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. It is a crucial part of yoga practice to integrate the benefits of the  asanas and pranayama exercises, leaving you feeling refreshed, centered, and balanced.
